Human Resource Officer (Full Time - Permanent)
Salary is £28,482.27 rising to £31,143.74 over 6 years (Subject to annual pay review.
36 days annual leave, rising to 40 days. Private Medical Insurance.
We are seeking a HR Officer to join our community in response to the growth within our work force over the last three years. Tiphereth provides a range of support services for adults with learning disabilities and autism, with a focus on building meaningful relationships and community.
Within this post you will play a key role in co-ordinating and developing our HR record keeping and administration processes. Whilst acting as a interface between our finance department and HR specialists at Peninsula, and our Registered Care Managers. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a HR and Payroll capacity, within a small business, with a keen eye for detail in ensuring compliance around employment law, recruitment practice, record keeping and GDPR.
The role will involve administrative support for all HR related meetings and you will have experience of verbatim minute taking. You will have excellent IT skills and an ability to work with a range of software packages that support HR and Training. Including maintaining databases around the professional registration required for the care sector.
Most of all you will have a flexible and adaptable personality with a willingness to work as part of a team, and embrace working in a vibrant community setting, that values everyone equally.

Relief Day Service Co-Worker
Salary is 14.12 per hour. This rate is the Scottish Living Wage plus 12.07% to statutory Annual leave entitlement
We are seeking Relief Workers who share our values and have the experience and skills to support adults with learning disabilities on a one-to-one basis to participate in meaningful work within our day service.
The posts require someone who is creative and happy to learn new skills as well as bring their own to the workshops. A musical ability and willingness to share this is also highly beneficial. Together with our members with learning disabilities we aim to produce unique items for our annual fairs and for our community. We value and often focus on crafts around seasonal changes and preparation for specific festivals.
Ideally you would have an interest in one of the craft areas, however this is not essential. What is more important is the capacity to work positively with individuals with autism and complex needs. Our workshops include; Pottery, Textiles, Garden work, Printing, Woodwork and maintenance of our Estate.

At Tiphereth-Camphill in Edinburgh we are relief co-workers to support adults with learning disabilities and autism who live within our Supported Living Service, grow their independence and be part of our vibrant community.
Previous paid or unpaid experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable. What is most important if that you have a real desire to support people to maximise their independence, have a belief in supporting people to make their choices and to do the things they want to do. The post will involve supporting personal care and safe people handling, experience of which would be desirable.
We are a Camphill community based on the edge of the Pentland hills in Edinburgh supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism in a range of day services, supported living, residential care, and social enterprises.
