Our three residential care houses are all beautiful family-sized homes with wonderful gardens. They operate more like family homes. With a community atmosphere of sharing, and an ethos of respect for the individual. There are daily, weekly and seasonal social activities.

Residential care.

  • Bluebell Cottage.

Four residents live at Bluebell Cottage alongside a registered care manager and their family. These staff are supported by foundation students who come to Tiphereth during their gap year. This combination of staff and volunteers create a real home. Where everyone is appreciated for who they are, and the qualities they bring to community life.

The beauty of the home, and the surrounding environment is a key part of life here. The natural environment of the Pentland Hills enhances the well-being of residents. The cottage has a rich cultural life and uses organic food as part of a holistic approach to care.

We rarely have vacancies in our supported living service, but if you would like to know when one happens please sign up for our newsletter.

  • The Hollies.

The Hollies provides residential care for four residents. They share their home with a family of four and foundation students.

The atmosphere in the house provides rhythm, stability and consistency. In a beautiful and peaceful environment.

The care team enable each resident to find their direction in life and fulfil their aspirations. They do this by providing opportunities to gain new skills and life experiences. Evening activities complement daytime work. Creating a space where everyone can come together.

The Hollies is located in Colinton Village. Staff support residents to integrate into the bustling village life. Be that shopping, the pub or church, which are all on their doorstep.
