Job Description
You will provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to enable them to achieve personal outcomes. Guided by our strapline: “Living Together, Working Together, Growing Together” the Co-Worker will provide relationship-centred care and support which values and promotes growth and a sense of belonging through working in shared and individual settings. Our co-workers support our members within their homes (Supported Living), to access meaningful work, and to have fun and develop relationships.
Key tasks
- To provide shared support, 1:1 and 2:1 support.
- To provide care and support with personal /intimate care tasks, administering medication safely, assisting a person’s mobility safely including using equipment, supporting meals, social activities, outings and attending appointments.
- To work positively with any behaviours of concern.

Transitions Group Team Leader - Maternity Cover
Job Description
We are recruiting for one full-time Team Leader who shares our values and has the experience and skills to support adults with learning disabilities to participate in meaningful work within our day service. The post is a Maternity cover position lasting for a minimum of 6 months. You should have the skills to manage a small staff team and co-ordinate activities within the group which meet the needs of individual members and which are in keeping with Tiphereth’s mission statement, Camphill values and the aims of the Day Service.
Key tasks
· Manage and co-ordinate activities within the group which meet the needs of individual members and which are in keeping with Tiphereth’s mission statement, Camphill values and the aims of the Transitions group
· To build relationships with people using a person-centred approach founded on dignity and respect for individuality, and that enables choice and control
· Plan staffing, arrange cover and deploy staff in a way which maximises cost efficiency whilst meeting the needs of the people we support
· To provide direct support to members and lead by example being a model for good practice to team members, and maintaining a well-motivated, professional and harmonious team

Day Service Co-Worker - Part Time
Job Description
Provide support and care to adults with learning disabilities and autism to participate in meaningful work and develop skills within a group/workshop setting.
The aim is for Co-Workers to provide support based across all groups but to based primarily in one key group. Current jobs roles are based within the Transitions Group. If support is needed in other groups, you may be changed workshop at short notice. The support may be provided on a one-to-one basis if that is what the member needs supporting to a small, shared group of members (maximum of 3). It is important that staff are capable of providing both types of support.
Key tasks
- To build relationships with people using a person-centred approach founded on dignity and respect for individuality, and that enables choice and control
- To provide small group support, and one-to-one support using a range of approaches that enable participation
- To work positively with any behaviours of concern that may challenge.
- Administer medication if required including emergency epilepsy medication subject to receiving the necessary training.
- To provide intimate personal care and support including assisting personal mobility safely using equipment; supporting meals, social activities, outings.
- To support people to participate in tasks and activities that interest and engage them and develop new skills.
