Do you have any unwanted hardwood?

We are looking for reclaimed wood. Our Pentland Group uses reclaimed wood in their projects. They use this to make furniture and other wood items, like the ones in the photo below.

Furniture made from recycled wood in Edinburgh

The wood they have used in the past includes decking, solid hardwood flooring or fencing. It doesn't matter if it's weathered or has been outside as long as it isn't rotten. We can also use hardwood furniture like wardrobes and tables: if they have enough salvageable wood to turn it into a new object.

Using reclaimed wood is good for the environment and allows us to make things we normally couldn't because of the cost of hardwood.

If you have any used decking, floorboards, hardwood furniture or anything else you are disposing of please contact us here or email Fiona Walker at fiona.walker[at]tiphereth.org.uk.
