Based at the foot of the Pentland Hills, Tiphereth Trading was established in 2013 under the umbrella of our parent charity, Tiphereth Camphill in Edinburgh. As a social enterprise, our work is linked with people, community and the environment.
The areas of our work are interlinked: we appreciate the value of natural resources, and are passionate about creating quality and sustainable products. We began life over 20 years ago as a compost production scheme, and now have a contract with City of Edinburgh Council to collect green waste from the local Colinton area.
This work with natural resources evolved to include sustainable firewood production. Wherever possible, we try to source all of our products locally. We are passionate about supporting our local economy and reducing our carbon footprint.
The core of our business is to offer employment opportunities at a Living Wage to people with support needs. We appreciate the backing of our customers and local community, who see this true value in our products, and the investment of time and resources that this takes. Every time you buy a product from us, you are helping people fulfil their potential & contribute to society.
The sales office opening hours are Monday to Friday 0900-1600. You can get in touch by phoning 0131 312 9944 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
As most of our staff at Tiphereth are working to support the adults in our care and involve them in our projects as fully as possible some of our processes may be a little slower than you were expecting. Please be patient as we process your order – we aim to respond within 3 days to all orders placed and truly value your custom. Profits from these social enterprise projects support the life and work of adults with learning disabilities & autism at Tiphereth.
We are always looking for ways to improve our products and customer service, so if you would like to give feedback or suggestions, please fill in the form below.
